ENGINEER → UX DESIGN → LIFE COACH

ICF CERTIFIED LIFE DESIGN & CAREER TRANSITION COACH

You're successful.
You're capable.
And you're
miserable.

You're not stuck because you're failing. You're stuck because you're solving the wrong problem. I help overthinkers stop analyzing their career and start redesigning it — with a real process, not a pep talk.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

It's not that you hate your job. It's that it doesn't feel like you.

You're not falling apart. You're not in crisis. You show up, you deliver, you're good at what you do. But somewhere between Sunday night and Monday morning, something quietly drains out of you.

It's not exhaustion. It's disconnection. The work doesn't light you up. It doesn't mean anything. And the more you try to think your way to a solution, the more stuck you feel.

Joy isn’t something you earn after you’ve figured everything out. It’s available right now — if you design for it.
— Gloria Julien

You're good at your job. You just don't care about it anymore — and that scares you.

01

You've been waiting to feel motivated again. It hasn't come back.

02

You feel guilty for wanting more when, on paper, you have a lot.

03

You've Googled "career change" more times than you'd admit — and still haven't moved.

04

You're not looking for someone to hype you up. You're looking for a process that actually works.

05

HOW THIS ACTUALLY WORKS

Not just coaching.
Design thinking.

I'm a mechanical engineer turned UX designer turned ICF-certified coach. That means I don't do vague. I run a structured process — and it works specifically for analytical brains like yours.

01

Map Your Reality

We use empathy mapping to get honest about where you actually are — not where you think you should be. No sugarcoating.

02

Reframe the problem

Most people are solving the wrong problem entirely. We identify what's actually going on before we build any plan.

03

Run Tiny Experiments

We use empathy mapping to get honest about where you actually are — not where you think you should be. No sugarcoating.

04

Redesign, Don’t Repair

We're not fixing what's broken. We're designing something that fits who you are now — not who you were at 22.

THE WORK

The Career
Redesign Intensive

This is where we stop talking about what you want to do differently and actually start doing it differently. Together, we build a career that reflects who you are — not just what you studied.

If you're an overthinker, you need to see the container before you can commit. Here's exactly what that looks like.

WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES

Real people.
Real decisions.

People who felt disconnected, under-motivated, and stuck in careers that looked great on the outside. Here's what shifted.

STUCK → MOVING

"For the first time, I feel like there's a way out. I've been feeling down for so long and I didn't know what was going on. Just thinking about the insight I found in this session makes me feel happier already."

﹣ LALA

DOUBT → BELIEF

"I feel encouraged. Writing down what it would feel like to align with my future self — I've actually felt that way before when I've done this kind of work. So now I kind of believe it."

﹣ ELO

FOGGY → CLEAR

"I'm an overthinker and super indecisive. I don't always know what my gut is telling me. This gave me a real way to practice listening to myself instead of thinking my way around it."

﹣ GRACE

"I came in with something I'd been avoiding for months. In one hour, I had it mapped out and I knew exactly what to do next. I didn't expect to feel that much lighter."

WHY I GET IT

Hi, I’m Gloria.

ENGINEER DESIGNER COACH

I spent years doing work that looked impressive and felt hollow. Not because I was failing — because I was building a career designed for someone else's expectations, not my own life. I know what that quiet drain feels like, and I know it's not laziness or ingratitude.

That path from mechanical engineer to UX designer to ICF-certified coach isn't a quirky backstory. It's proof that the process I'm going to teach you actually works. I didn't find my way by thinking harder. I found it by designing smarter.

QUESTIONS YOU’RE DEFINITELY THINKING

Let’s get real about it.

Is this therapy? Coaching? What exactly is this?

It's a structured design process, not a feelings excavation. We're not analyzing your childhood. We're getting clear on what you want, what's in the way, and what your next experiment looks like. Very action-oriented. Always kind.

I've done coaching before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?

Most coaching is vague. Mine isn't. I'm an engineer — I run a process. Design thinking gives you a framework that works specifically for analytical overthinkers who need structure before they can move.

I don't hate my job. So why does something still feel off?

Because hating it would actually be easier to explain. What you're feeling is quieter than that — and harder to name. You're not miserable. You're just... not lit up. You go through the motions, you do it well, and somewhere in the back of your mind you keep thinking: is this really it?

That hollow, low-grade "is this all there is" feeling? That's not laziness. That's not ingratitude. That's your signal that something needs to change — and it's exactly what we work on together.

I'm good at my job. Will this feel like starting over?

Here's the thing nobody talks about: being good at something can actually keep you stuck longer. Because when you're competent, it's easy to convince yourself to wait. For the right moment. For retirement. For when the kids are older. For some day.

But "some day" has a way of becoming never.

This isn't about burning it all down. It's about figuring out what you actually want before you run out of runway to go after it. You don't lose what you've built. We redesign how it fits — around the life you actually want, not the one you defaulted into.

What does the 6-month commitment actually look like?

12 sessions, every other week, for 6 months. Each session is structured. You come with something real, we work on it together, and you leave with a clear next move — not a homework list.

What's the discovery call actually for?

30 minutes to understand what's really going on for you, see if we're a good fit, and share how we might work together.

The more honest you are — not the polished version, the real one — the more useful it is. I can't help you find the root cause if you're holding back waiting for the pitch.

You'll know by the end if this is right for you.

YOU’VE KNOWN FOR AWHILE NOW

Stop thinking about it.
Start
designing it.

30 minutes to get at what's really going on, see if we're a good fit, and talk honestly about what's next. No pressure. Just the real conversation you've probably been putting off.
